- Rufai Ibrahim, a Mechanic from Sokoto clinches star prize
Oando Marketing Limited (OML), Nigeria’s leading oil retailer is pleased to announce that Rufai Ibrahim, a mechanic from Sokoto has emerged winner of the first star prize of brand new Toyota Corolla car in its ongoing Nigeria at 50 Oleum promo. Rufai emerged winner at a raffle draw event held at Oando Service Station located at 1, Club Road, Kano, on Thursday, 29th of July, 2010.
The promo, which started on July 1, and runs till September 30, 2010 at all Oando Services Stations nationwide, will see Oando Marketing give out three grand prizes of Toyota Corolla cars, and other star gifts such as motorcycles, generating sets, 3kg gas cylinders and mobile phones. The other draws have been scheduled for August and September respectively.

Other winners from the raffle draw include Roland Oloworubi from Kano and Danlami Bulus from Jos who both won a motorcycle each; and Mr. Charles Yegwa, Kaduna who won a generating set. Also, Willy Ogbadu, Garba Yusuf and Siman Jibji all from Kaduna; Jonathan Orakwe from Abuja and Timothy Labe from Katsina Ala in Benue State won mobile phones amongst others.
This promo is the second of its kind from Oando Marketing after the successful ‘Awoof Promo’ held 2007 during which two KIA Picanto cars were snapped up by Mr. Micheal Ogbonna, a civil servant from Abuja and Micheal Adeniji, a businessman from Abuja.
The mechanics for winning any of the prizes in the ongoing all the customer need do is buy any four (4) litre keg of Oando lubricant called Oleum namely Oleum SM, SL, XL, SD, HD, GR and GRS; exclusive of Oleum Super, from any of the over 500 retail stations strategically located nationwide and you will be given a scratch card.
With the scratch card the buyer may win an instant gift but will also instantly qualify for a raffle draw where he/ she stands the chance to win great prizes such as motor-cycles, generating sets, mobile phones, 3 kg cylinders and the star prize of Toyota Corolla car.
