Oando PLC, Africa’s leading indigenous energy solutions provider, will participate in the Nigeria International Energy Summit (NIES) 2026, scheduled to commence on Tuesday, February 2, 2026, to Friday, February 5, 2026, reinforcing its role in shaping critical conversations around upstream leadership and energy financing in Africa.
At the summit,the Managing Director, Oando Energy Resources, Dr. Ainojie ‘Alex’ Irune, will speak at the Upstream Leadership Dialogue, joining senior industry executives to examine leadership priorities, operational resilience, and policy alignment within Nigeria’s upstream sector. The session convenes executives from international oil companies (IOCs), indigenous operators, and Government parastatals, reflecting the strategic importance of upstream leadership to national energy security and production growth.
In addition, Group Chief Financial Officer, Oando PLC, Mr. Adeola Ogunsemi, will speak at the Energy Financing Forum themed Financing Africa’s Energy Future. The session will focus on capital mobilisation, financing frameworks, and the role of financial discipline in supporting sustainable energy development across the continent. Discussions will centre on the alignment of capital structures with long-term energy investments and the role of credible indigenous companies in attracting local and international funding.
This is Oando’s fifth year of participating in NIES.
