
Chief Legal Officer
Efuntomi has over 19 years of professional experience in energy, mining, M&A, financing, corporate/commercial transactions, and dispute resolution matters. She started her career at Banwo & Ighodalo, where she gained invaluable experience from various landmark transactions. Since she joined Oando Plc, she has played a key role in Oando’s major transactions including landmark acquisitions of oil & gas and mining assets, cross-border international/local M&A and multimillion-dollar financing transactions.
She now heads the Group’s legal services department as the Chief Legal Officer and supervises the legal aspects of the group’s transactions.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law – LLB (Hons.) from the University of Kent, England, a Master’s degree – LLM in Petroleum Law and Policy from the Center for Energy, Petroleum, Mineral Law & Policy, University of Dundee, Scotland; B.L. (Hons.) from the Nigerian Law School; and a Postgraduate Diploma (with Distinction) in Innovation and Design Thinking from the Emeritus Institute of Management (in collaboration with MIT, Columbia Business School, and Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth).
She is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
