Logistics – TOS Scheme

This is a scheme designed to assist transporters in acquiring the upgraded (Grade A) trucks, which we have recently launched. It entails the following:

Oando PLC. has developed standard specifications for tractor head and tank. Whilst we have not specified any particular brand of truck head, they should be adequate, and not be more than five (5) years old.

The specifications for the tanks have been given to some accredited tank manufacturers within the country, including NIVAFER, FRIGOGLASS and ARMECO. More manufacturers will be accredited shortly. Each manufacturer will construct completed tanks with tyres (painted and branded to Oando specification), for our transporters.

Transporters who wish to import tanks are free to do so provided they send us specifications and pictures of the tanks for confirmation before making any financial commitment.

The objectives of the scheme are:

a) To ensure product integrity and safety during transportation using quality discharge valves and manhole covers.

b) To achieve optimum truck utilization and reduce incidences of unavailability of trucks due to break-downs/accidents

c) To ensure the safety of the drivers and products in transit.

We are seeking transporters who can acquire a minimum of 20 Grade A trucks/tanks.
