Ramanath Srugavarapu

Mr. Ramanath is Head, Terminals & Engineering of Oando Marketing Limited. He assumed this position in November 2008.

Prior to this, Ram was Head, Terminal Operations in Oando Terminals & Logistics Limited since November 2007. He resumed in Oando on the 23rd of November, 2007.

Ram joined Oando from M/s. Kesar Enterprises Ltd – Mumbai (India) at their Kandla (Western India) Operations where he was Deputy General Manager since 2000. He has held several management positions with various organizations prior to this such as M/s. PES Engineers Ltd., Hyderabad (India), M/s. Doha Petroleum Construction Co. Ltd., Doha (Qatar) among others.

At M/s. PES Engineers Ltd.,Hyderabad (India), he occupied the role of Manager – Projects Co-ordination, where he was actively involved in Projects Co-ordination / Materials & Logistic Control, from the Corporate Office, of various Project Sites / locations.

Ram was Deputy General Manager, M/s. Kesar Enterprises Ltd – Mumbai (India) at their Kandla (Western India) Operations where he was solely responsible for Operations & Maintenance, Expansion & Modifications of the Bulk Liquid Terminals handling Petroleum Products, Chemicals & Oils. Also he had actively taken part in the salvage operations subsequent to the Killer Earthquake which occurred in this region on 26.01.2001, and involved in all jobs taken up for Revamping, Testing and Repairing & Re-commissioning of these Terminals.

As Head, Terminals & Engineering, Mr. Ram is responsible for Operations & Maintenance, Expansion & Modifications of Bulk Liquid Storage Terminals (Petroleum Products / Chemicals) + LPG Plants + Third Party Storage Facilities + LPG Plants + Warehouses + VMIs, situated in various locations across Nigeria. Besides this, he is also responsible for improving the Operational Efficiency and as well Maintenance of Petroleum Products Service Stations owned / operated by the Management.

Ram holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nagarjuna University – Andhra Pradesh, India. He has 27 years of experience in Construction (Onshore / Offshore Projects), Co-ordination & Quality Control, Materials & Logistic Control in Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Sector, Marine Construction & Ship Re-building Industry and Major Steel Plant Projects. He has been associated with various Projects in management positions and as well exposed to the working environment in Asian / Middle East / African Regions.
