Bello Adegboyega

Mr. Adegboyega Bello is the Head of Finance of Oando Marketing and he assumed this position in June 2009.

Prior to this, he was the pioneer Head, Finance, of Oando PLC. A position he assumed following the creation of Oando Marketing Limited from Oando PLC, a project he actively participated in.

Adegboyega started his business career at Oando in 2007 and has held several positions within the organization during this period namely Finance Manager, Group Finance Manager and Head of Finance, Oando PLC.

As Head of Finance, He is responsible for the development and maintenance of the financial reporting system of the company in line with world class best practices. In addition he provides overall guidance on information technology operation and deployment for the marketing division operations.

Adegboyega also supports the Chief Executive Officer, Oando Marketing in area of financial strategy development and execution and he is responsible for the harmonization of both operational and financial measures aimed at efficiency, growth and profitability of the business in the long term.

He commenced his professional career with KPMG, an audit, tax and financial advisory firm as an Intern in 1998 with special focus on upstream operating companies. He was exposed to various aspects of accounting, assurance and advisory service and taxation. He later left to join Oceanic Bank as an Analyst in the bank’s financial control & planning department and he rose to the position of Head, Management Information System.

Adegboyega holds a B.Sc. Hons in Finance from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He has attended several external trainings with focus on Financial Strategy, International Financial Reporting, Information Technology, Credit and Treasury Operations.
