Gaslink has pre-qualified a number of contractors whose competency and job quality meet up to international quality standards. A prospecting customer can contract the services of any of these pre-qualified contractors.

The customer’s appointed contractor is responsible for furnishing and installing the gas piping on the downstream (or appliance) side of the meter. The gas piping on the downstream side is then inspected in accordance with local/international codes. After passing the inspection, Gaslink Nigeria Limited will install the gas meter and associated components. Gaslink owns all processes relating to upstream gas piping of the meter.
Generally Gaslink will fund the construction of gas spurline to a location within the customer’s premises. However, where the customer’s location is way-off the gas pipeline, and based on the anticipated gas load, the prospecting customer might be required to part-fund the construction of the spurline.
Typically, there is no charge to the customer to increase the size of the metering station to handle additional gas load
Gaslink will install the metering station once the customer’s internal gas line has inspected by the quality assurance officer from Gaslink and also the customer’s equipment converted and ready to run on gas.
We have standard delivery pressure for commercial customers ranging between 1.5 and 2.5barg
