Drilling & Completion Fluids Management

In 2005, OES invested in the growth of its Drilling & Completion Fluids Management business. Today, the turnaround in the business is evident as OES is now considered one of the leading indigenous fluids management companies in the country. Currently OES can boast of ongoing contracts with international oil companies such as Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCO), Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited, Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC), Chevron Nigeria Limited and Star Deep Water Petroleum Limited.

We strive to maintain our edge over competition. To achieve this, we decided in 2008 to enter into an alliance with Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids division. This alliance which gives us direct access to ongoing research and development activities, specialized chemicals and “knowledge banks”, allows OES demonstrate its high level of competence in the provision of fluids services while assuring clients of the quality they have become accustomed to. To further reinforce our position as a leading fluids company, we have commenced the construction of a world-class mud facility at Onne which will have the capacity to store 18,000bbls of Completions Brine, Oil Base Mud & Water Base Mud and 8,500 bbls of Base Oil.
