Oando Rewards Employees Outstanding Performance

Three (3) Retail Station Managers Promoted Dealers
Most Outstanding Station Personnel to Win Keke Marwa
10 Exceptional Pump Attendants to win holiday trip Abroad
   
   
Oando Marketing, Nigeria’s leading oil marketing retailer, has announced the promotion of three retail outlet Managers for their contribution to superior customer service delivery and sales output. They are:
   
Mr. John Ogbole - Receiver Manager Oando Service Station at Herbert Macaulay Street, Yaba Lagos;
 
Mr. Abel Jonah - Receiver Manager, Akija Hotel Filling Station, Kano; and
 
Mr. Alabi Lawrence - Station Manager, Oando Service Station, 33, Sapele Road, Benin.


The awardees have all excelled in delivering unequalled customer service delivery, increased sale output, demonstrated first-class station management ability and adherence to safety and loss management, which were the set benchmarks. In their new positions, they will in addition to the oversight functions of the entire operations of their respective service stations, enjoy the privilege of working as entrepreneurs with access to guaranteed loans from banks to drive the business.

Commenting on the promotions, Mr. Michael Oshai, Chief Marketing Officer-Retail (CMO-R), Oando Marketing, states, “It is Oando’s management culture to reward high performing and loyal employees, and we will continue to enhance such propositions. We expect more station managers to be promoted to dealers by year end”.

Speaking during the presentation of their awards, Mr. Abel Jonah, Receiver Manager, Akija Hotel Filling Station, Kano, said “I thank the Almighty God for this promotion. Oando really made me happy by this promotion and I am going to encourage other station managers to improve their sales and make name for themselves”.

In the same vein, in a bid to ensure every outstanding effort is rewarded Oando Marketing is also running the Forecourt ‘Super Service’ Scheme alongside the ongoing Awoof Promo for its Station Personnel. By December, 2007, when the final performance analyses would have been done, the most outstanding staff will go home with brand new Keke Marwa. The company also promised to sponsor on a holiday trip outside the shores of Nigeria, ten other industrious personnel.
