Chris Nnamdi Onuoha COO, Oando Terminals and Logistics Limited

Chris Onuoha is charged with overseeing Oando Terminals and Logistics Limited’s operations, implementing strategies, managing day to day business activities, as well as championing special projects and initiatives with the aim of improving efficiency and maximizing assets availability/utilization over long-term.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Operating Officer, he served as Oando’s Head of Environment, Health Safety and Quality Assurance (EHSQ) where he was responsible for developing and implementing EHSQ policies and ensuring that Oando’s day-to-day operations and activities conformed with international EHSQ best practice.
Prior to Oando, he worked with Shell Petroleum Development Company’s (SPDC) HSE Management Systems Implementation Team (HIT). Prior to SPDC, he worked at GTS Technologies, Pennsylvania, USA, where he served as the Engineering Manager and later, Director of the firms multimillion dollar engineering division, he has at different times worked with Schnabel Engineering, West Chester, Pennsylvania and CRS Sirrine, Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the North Carolina State University; Dual Masters of Science degrees and a doctorate from the Pennsylvania State University and Drexel University. Dr. Onuoha is a board registered Professional Engineer and a Disaster Medicine Specialist with over 20 years extensive experience in operations research, engineering, biotechnology, Environmental health, safety & Quality Assurance.
