Babatunde Ogunnaike MD/CEO Oando Exploration & Production

Mr Babatunde Ogunnaike joined Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) in 1978 as a Wellsite Petroleum Engineer. He later became the Head of Business Planning and Economics, and in 1993 was assigned as Senior Economics Engineer with Shell Expro - London, UK.

He returned to SPDC in 1996 as Head, Production Planning, Programming and Information Services and served at various times in Corporate Planning, Petroleum Engineering and Technical Services departments before his appointment as Commercial Operations Manager in 2005.

He was appointed General Manager - Joint Venture Management in 2006, a position he held till May, 2008.
